Historic Preservation Board falls short of quorum

With only two members attending its Oct. 6 meeting, Clay County’s Historic Preservation Board failed to reach a quorum and had to postpone action on selecting a new chair.

In addition to Clay County’s Chief Planner Beth Carson, board members Randy Harris and Melissa Clearman held a three-minute meeting to discuss a group organizing to clean up local cemeteries.

Board members Chris Stubbs, Karla Logston, Dr. Maureen Jung, Gerard Casale and Deirdre Murphy, were absent.

The board was scheduled to pick a new chair after the resignation of board member Felicia Hirsch.
