Orange Park Hospital holds open house for Middleburg emergency department

The HCA Florida facility combined an open house for its new Middleburg standalone emergency department with a trunk-or-treat event on Sunday, Oct. 30.

When open in late November, the facility will be the third freestanding emergency department for the hospital, joining Park West Emergency on Jacksonville’s 103rd Street and Normandy Park Emergency on Lane Avenue near Normandy Boulevard.

The hospital said its standalones, in addition to the hospital’s main emergency department on Kingsley Avenue, provide heart attack care, stroke care, trauma care and pediatric emergency care.
